TRUE UNITY

1. This collection is inspired by the unified function of nature and hopes of a more unified function of humanity- to work together in harmony as nature does. 
2. What working against each other looks like 
3. Mother nature taught us. If we don’t all work together, we will fall apart. The two party system taught me they don’t want us to work like nature, if not, it wouldn’t exist. 
4. Fabric manipulations inspired by what happens when nature works against each other: rip currents, earthquakes, avalanches 
5. The flower symbolizes unity and what roots us together. This inspired my draping process using muslin cut out flowers. 
6. Draping ideations- playing around with the flower petals to create different silhouette designs. 
7. Sustainable process of fabrics used for the collection. all the yellow fabric would be turmeric dyed bamboo cotton.
